Senior Capstone
The senior capstone animation is a year long project with several stages of production. Preproduction is spent gathering ideas, coming up with a script, creating storyboards, and finally making an animatic to get a rough idea of how the animation will come together. This process took up most of first semester. The final quarter of first semester, I was able to begin roughly animating scenes. By the time winter break rolled around, I was nearly finished with the roughs. Second semester brought inking and polishing and more polishing. I primarily used Procreate and Photoshop to animate each frame. Next it was time for color and then ready to be thrown together. After Effects was used for compiling everything and getting it set to music. Finally, after a bit more critique and more polishing, it was ready to go and be shown in the Peoria Riverfront Museum.
